This course is designed for law enforcement investigators, narcotic officers, and supervisors of narcotics units / specialty units. Attendees will learn the importance of continuously weighing the risk vs reward during narcotics operations. Real life scenarios of robberies and operations which have gone “bad” will be reviewed and discussed in length. All of our instructors have many years of experience in narcotics units, holding the position of agent, supervisor, and director of these units.

- Weighing risk vs reward during narcotics operations
- Reducing temptations during narcotics operations
- Managing the risks of undercover operations
- Recognizing and reacting to signs of trouble in personal or professional life
- Case studies of troubled narcotics agents
- Options for reducing the risk of narcotics operations
- Attendees will analyze operations to determine safer options
- Attendees will participate in case studies of recognizing and handling issues within unit
