WHAT IS MCTFT?

The Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training is a federally funded, nationally responsive partnership between the Department of Defense, National Guard Bureau, and the Florida National Guard. MCTFT is one of five national Counterdrug Training Centers dedicated to achieving the training goals and objectives of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Counter Narcotics and Global Threats, National Guard Bureau, and The Adjutant General of the State of Florida.

The program provides unique, tuition-free counterdrug and counter transnational organized crime training in support of DoD strategies, as well as the strategy of the Office of National Drug Control Policy. MCTFT has campuses at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Florida, and at St. Petersburg College’s Center for Public Safety Innovation (CPSI) located at the St. Petersburg College Allstate Center, in St. Petersburg, Florida. MCTFT provides training to:

Combatant Commands | Military Services | Federal Agencies
State and Local Law Enforcement | Community Leaders

Since its inception in 1993, MCTFT has trained more than six million students from all 50 states and four U.S. territories. MCTFT provides training through three primary means: traditional classroom and range training, online, and distance learning video broadcasts.

We maintain high standards of quality and relevancy through the use of subject matter experts and student feedback.  This allows us to identify evolving training needs and emerging trends in the current counterdrug environment.  Click here to reach out to us.
