Course Length: 8 Hours
Description: This course is designed to instruct the Narcotics Officer in the proper navigation techniques used in rural locations. This course emphasis map reading, compass and GPS use, and pace count importance while moving from point to point. With the proliferation of open enrollment training courses by the private sector, who are teaching private civilians in Military and Law Enforcement Tactics, U.S. Military combat veterans as well as foreign nationals with advanced military training who have now transitioned into the illicit narcotics trade; it is prudent for the Narcotics Officer to be able to face these threats in the locations that the criminal does not expect.
